About 25 years ago, Eric Lee was a specification writer in the construction industry. He had considerable experience in the world of high end residential and commercial architecture, but none in the fine art world.
His wife (at the time) kept telling Eric he was an artist at heart, but Eric was certain she was mistaken. She was extremely insistent, so he finally relented, went into his garage, and eventually emerged with a small piece that garnered an "I told you so."
That response encouraged him to try again. Eric recalls, “We both liked this one.”
While most painters begin working on canvas, from the very beginning, Eric started working on an alternate substrate, glass. At first this was because it was forgiving but over time "it just felt right."
